The Glencoe Light and Power Commission is pleased to announce the installation of a new 40 kW solar array that will provide station power to our main facility while generating approximately 70,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean, renewable electricity each year.
This project was made possible through the Solar on Public Buildings Grant Program from the Minnesota Department of Commerce, supporting our continued commitment to sustainability, fiscal responsibility, and environmental stewardship here in Minnesota.
